Linda Lee is the EVP and GM of playBLOCKS, a new Web3 division of the gaming platform, and developer PLAYSTUDIOS, an award-winning developer of free-to-play casual mobile and social games. Lee worked for PLAYSTUDIOS from 2012 to 2017, where she gained in-depth experience in gaming and loyalty marketing, and found new blockchain applications with her decades of expertise in digital advertising and retail media. She left PLAYSTUDIOS to explore other interests, which led her to launch, a turnkey, blockchain-based loyalty platform that allows game developers to build play-to-earn capabilities. In 2022, PLAYSTUDIOS acquired WonderBlocks, and Lee returned to lead its division focused on Web3 and rewarded play, playBLOCKS. Lee was born in Taiwan, moved to Costa Rica when she was 8 years old, then came to the United States when she was 18, to pursue computer science degrees at Cornell University.
